This was my DnD game jam submission for "The Wilderness" category. Explore a vast open world filled with danger, mysteries, and loot. Uncover and destroy the ancient power that draws monsters to this valley. Or wander around and explore to your heart's content. Monster’s difficulty scales based on the party’s level. The smoothest leveling/gear progression experience follows the quests/NPCs. The main story is playable with a few short sidequests/places of interest to explore mixed in. I hope to find the time and motivation to add more content in the future. This game is designed to be a co-op experience with players sharing XP, and GP. Saves have been disabled in favor of keeping the party the same level. Players joining in progress will be teleported to the party, bumped up to the party's current level, and gain 70% of the total gold they've earned so far. There are many different paths to explore and places to find that will not all be found in one playthrough. Features: -Complete overhaul of weapon, player, and monster stats: damage values, health values, XP and GP reward values. -Player health regeneration, higher regeneration when not in combat. -New players teleport to the party’s location if the party is far from the start zone. -Players teleport to a party member when they respawn. -Weapon types and max health pools are tied to player classes (Paladin, Fighter, Ranger, Wizard, Rogue). -Dynamic soundtrack based on player location, time of day, and combat status. -Hundreds of monster spawns all over the world. Traveling by road and near towns is safest. Off the road combat encounters become more frequent. -Monster spawns only go on cooldown if they've been cleared by the party. 10Min cooldown. -Monster spawns choose to spawn weaker or harder monsters based on party's level. -Monsters health scales up an additional 33% per additional player -Game saves have been turned off in favor of keeping the party the same level. -Players share XP and GP, new players gain 100%XP and 70%GP of the total the party had earned if they join late. to keep up with the group. -Limit of two players per class.
