Christmas is everywhere. (translate with goole) You can read Summary in game. Hello to you. This scene is built for the Holiday JAM hosted by Core in collaboration with IGDA and GGJ. I opted for a static scene to get the best possible angle of view. Like a 3D map, a lightly animated photograph of a moment of life. You can very lightly see the character, a handful of inches, blocked in this frozen moment. The lighting effects in the background and the arrangement of the characters do not allow the viewer to integrate into the scene. On the other hand, the elements arranged in the scene benefit from a precise arrangement which emphasizes each one, up to the importance I wanted to give it. I opted for a parable, a contrast between the religious image of Christmas and what she is trying to combat in her major work. I reproduced the elements of Christmas in hell version. Hell may not be what we were sold. Maybe they celebrate Christmas in their own way. If we were wise, whether we are in hell or not, Santa Claus does his job and brings us gifts, wherever we are. You can see in this scene, followed by the symbolic parable contrasting the conventions: - A red dinosaur Far left, Godzilla, the God who dominates the scene. He sends his hot and misty breath to the earth of men. - A river of lava Charlie's Chocolate River and the Chocolate Factory, the must-see Christmas movie. - A skeleton that creates a lava man Like a child with his snowman. - A mountain of lava Snow-capped mountains. - A flaming sphere Like an ancient artifact full of mystery, it represents the fireplace, alluring and hypnotic. - Santa No parable. This is the main symbolism of the scene, Christmas is everywhere. - Two characters in the middle of a fireball fight. The man on the left, certainly a prisoner, prepares his fireball, while the one on the right, in dilapidated clothes, already launched his own. The fireballs mirror the snowballs in the context shown. The characters are not little child in fairy house, they are in hell. That doesn't stop them from having fun. Those who see it as a confrontation to the death are deceived by the propaganda. These two are just having fun this holiday season. I put the woman in backlight to make her the main character, the heroine of the scene. - Fallen Spirit You can see a fallen spirit in chains. Like a pet on a leash. I have intentionally placed the mouth of the spirit in front of the hand of the woman as a symbol of the domestic animal raised to the hand of the master. - Live barley sugar What you might think of as a snake is live barley sugar. With its characteristic stripes, even if these have been reddened by the heat of the place. This barley sugar looks at you, as if it calls you, as real barley sugar calls you when you look at it. It appeals to your mouth. Here we are hell, I do not recommend trying to eat it. - A lava bottom Like snow at our feet. - A mountainous rock The passable road beyond the snow. - The sky and its rays of light These rays are the parable of a sunrise in winter. The effects of the sun's rays pass through the mists before hitting the clouds below, offering us a fascinating spectacle. From a symbolic point of view they also represent the creator and the creation, Ra, the god, sun, unique god who enlightens men and women.
